Hitachi Software Partners With Whizz Education To Provide Interactive Math Lessons For StarBoard Users
New Lessons Range From Kindergarten To Grade 8 and Are Aligned To State
Standards
Hitachi Software Engineering America, Ltd., today announced its partnership with the award-winning Whizz Education, Inc. to provide StarBoard educators with a host of interactive math lessons for Grades K-8. This partnership enhances Hitachi’s educational, interactive learning resources for the StarBoard.
Whizz Education will be providing 161 lessons from its Math-Whizz range of products as a free download on the StarBoard website. The lessons focus on geometry, mental math, and the prealgebra skills of fractions, decimal percents and ratios. They are designed to take full advantage of the Hitachi StarBoard’s interactive, multi-touch technology.
Designed to make math fun for children of all ages and abilities, the lessons are engaging and ensure a high level of educational integrity while improving students’ math abilities. Schools that have already used Whizz programs have seen measurable and proven progress in students’ math abilities.
